My baby boy is 1 year old! That blows my mind! It has been such an amazing year. Since the day he was born, he has been such an easy going, happy kid. I am so lucky that I get to stay home and be with him all day. It has been so much fun just watching him grow and learn new things. He is so curious about everything, and just doesn't have enough time to do everything he wants to. Just like daddy, his attention is easily distracted by little things. He is a busy little boy! At his 1 year checkup he weighed 22 lbs 13 oz and was 29" long. He is hitting all the milestones he should be. He has pretty much given up the crawling and loves the new freedom of walking. Since he's so busy, he's usually running. He keeps me on my toes, but I couldn't ask for a more fun, happier little boy. He is 1 of the 2 true loves of my life.
For his birthday, we decided to take him to the aquarium because at his dr's office there is a fish tank that he was pretty intrigued with. He LOVED the aquarium! At every new tank we'd stop at, he would just point at the fish and get the biggest grin on his face! It was the cutest thing ever.
After the aquarium we went to Maggie Moo's for ice cream, another one of his favorite things. It was a fun day. Luckily for him, his birthday party wasn't until Monday, so the birthday celebration wasn't over.

wait, wait, wait. I just read Jed and Candices blog...did Deco seriously ELOPE? That is awesome!!! That probably definitely had to shake things up a bit in the Lyman family. Maxon's party looked like so much fun! Your belly is getting more pregnantish too, which is great right! Good job on the cupcakes too... mmm

How fun! I didn't know there was an aquarium up there, Taeg would LOVE that! Maxon is so cute, i love his mohawk! what a stud!!!
