The beginning of June we got to spend a week at Lake Powell basking in the sun and playing in the sand. The kids had a blast! They were literally ready to go out in the sand and water the second they woke up, and we had to drag them inside every night. We went with our friends the Moody's and the Judd's. We decided to leave Denver at grandma and grandpa's house. 1 1/2 year olds at Lake Powell is not fun for anyone. We got to Lake Powell Thursday morning and left Monday morning. Such a fun trip!
Trent and the kids swam across the bay and were playing on the rocks over there. The kids were chasing a lizard and Scout was standing a little too close to the edge of a rock trying to see the lizard when she slipped and fall head first off the ledge that was probably 6 1/2 feet tall. She got pretty scraped up and got a pretty good goose egg on her head. She's pretty tough though, so it didn't keep her down for too long.
It was such a fun week and we got out of there without any major injuries or sunburns. Can't wait to go back!
