Zion Ponderosa

Last year for Christmas, my parents gave us all a trip for a weekend at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort.  It was so much fun!  We all got there Thursday throughout the day, our family being the last to arrive at about 10:30 PM.  We stayed in this amazing cabin, where each family had their own bedroom.  Friday morning we got up and got ready to head into Zion's to do some hiking.  We had a little picnic then caught the shuttle into the park.  We did a little hike called Riverside walk.  It was very kid friendly and ended at the river where everyone got to jump in a cool off.  The kids caught "polly wolly's" (polly wogs) and thought they were the coolest!  After hiking, we headed back to the cabin.  We had dinner and relaxed the rest of the night.  Saturday morning we shipped the kids off to Kid Camp.

They have a camp for kids ages 4-11, where they take the kids from 9-5 and do all kinds of fun things.  The kids had a blast!  They got to zipline (both of my kids chickened out), bungee trampoline, climb the rock wall (my kids favorite), ride horses, petting zoo, craft time, then they ended at the pool. Kristi, Cam and I got a massage at the spa.  It was delightful.  Then we met the kids at the pool at about 4 and swam for a while.  After swimming, it was back to the cabin for dinner.

Sunday morning it was time to pack up and head out.  We had so much fun!  I always love time with my family, even with the chaos of 30+ people under one roof.

The kids and I squeezed in with the cars going to Blanding, and went to spend some time there for a few days, and Trent drove home with the plan of driving down to Blanding in a few days to celebrate the 4th of July and get us.
